NASCAR Playoff Banners
NASCAR returned to NBCSports in 2015, but it was a very different sport from when it left in 2007. The cars and the rules had changed and we were asked to communicate the relatively new CHASE format to the NASCAR audience. My team had conceptualized a promotional package explaining that only 16 drivers remained eligible for the championship as highlighted by flowing banners above the cars. As each round closed the advancement of the remaining drivers were reflected by pulling the cars forward ahead of the pack. We partnered with Big Studios to execute this campaign, and they were able to build upon the concept art I put together below.
