One Good Story - Olympics
In preparation for the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang the NBC Sports Olympic marketing team brought all of team USA's best athletes to one place. Over the course of the week we gathered a year's worth of content. I saw it as an opportunity to connect audiences with the athletes in a way we've never done before. If people could hear something personal in their words, I knew it would resonate. Even more so if we brought their words to life through design and animation.
I asked each to tell one good story, we then sought some wonderful artists to aid in characterizing, designing, and animating each tale. Lindsey Vonn, Shaun White, and Mikaela Shiffrin's stories were selected and I worked with animators Alex Horan, Matt Marblo, and Julie Zammarchi respectively.
